... i am training to run an ultramarathon and a friend of mine introduced me to these seeds as a method of fueling for very long distances. they do everything they claim to. i did a 20 mile run in the mountains and only ate 9 tablespoons of chia gel and a ziplock bag of cut fruit during the run and i felt great when i was finished. these are a great source of energy for endurance athletes. i highly recommend them, you wont be disappointed. a 1:6 seed/water ratio makes a pretty thick gel and i mix gatorade, tang or koolaid with mine to flavor it. if you make it too watery it has the consistency of snot. and who wants to eat snot?? ...
