I didn't read carefully and didn't realize this is about 1000 calories, split pretty much evenly between carbs, fat, and protein. While the carbs and fat make it great as a pre-workout drink to give you some energy, they aren't useful after your workout. Otherwise, this tastes great and only takes about a minute to mix evenly if you're using a shaker.

Also, don't think that because this is 10 pounds that you're getting more for your buck. It requires 4 scoops which makes this still have only about 20 servings. ...

... This is a good product however you need to take into account you will need to take 5 per day to get about the 3400 mg of CLA that most case studies on the effectiveness of CLA are based on. This is due to the product only having 700mg of CLA the 1000mg in large print on the bottle is slightly deceiving but alot of companies which offer CLA supplements do the exact same thing. The capsules are big and you do get that feeling like they are stuck in the back of your throat especially since you need to take two with breakfast two with lunch and one with dinner if you are looking to get at least the 3400mg. This is not horrible enough that I am going to toss the bottle but enough that I am going to try an alternative CLA supplement after this bottle is done somthing in a liquid form maybe. But please do take into account I am not a huge fan of taking anything in pill form. Gaspari Superpump 250, 800 grams, Blue Raspberry

... I am currently on my second container of Gaspari's SuperPump 250. I have tried NO Xplode, a similar Nitric Oxide product.

With the NO Xplode I got decent pumps and excellent focus for about the first two weeks. After time I grew more and more tolerant, to the point where 2.5 scoops was barely noticeable.

I decided to switch to SuperPump, mainly because it was $15 cheaper. I'm so glad that I did. I currently take 2 heaping scoops of SuperPump with a half tsp. of creatine ethyl ester before every workout. In 20-30 minutes my head is rushing, my muscles are pumping, and I have an incredible feeling of focus and energy. I can work out harder, my muscles get incredibly pumped, and my veins grow more distinguishable. SuperPump also helps to burn fat. The best part is that the effects of SuperPump last for about 2 hours, and I still get the same if not more effect as I did on the very first day.

Side Effects:
-Smelly Gas every now and then
-Change in stool consistency.
-Drowsiness after wearing off (if you take too late at night)
-Light Headedness (if you are dehydrated)


Before using SuperPump there are a few things you should know.
-I've only tried Blue Raspberry. It's an acquired taste but it is definitely manageable. No gagging like I did with NO-Xplode Lemon Lime
-Take it on an empty stomach and don't eat or drink anything but water for at least 20 minutes after taking! Otherwise your SuperPump may turn into SuperPoop.
-This is not for the casual gym goer. This is for regular, explosive workouts to put on lean muscle.
-Not good for aerobic workouts. I've tried it and I feel like my muscles get too pumped. It hinders range of motion a bit and I get slightly queasy.
-Start small. One scoop the first couple times. Once you get used to it up to 1.5 scoops. Then go to 2. Then if you really want to get pumped go for 2 heaping or 2.5 I have felt no need to go with 3.
-It says on the package to take on off days. Don't. It's a waste of money.
-Drink lots of water!
-I'd recommend cycling. I do 3 months on and 1 month off, in conjunction with my creatine.

If you follow those tips you should minimize side effects and get fantastic results. I will never go back to a different Nitrogen product. ...

... Folks, I just got this in the mail today. I haven't tried the product, and I'm sure it works great--it's got to--because these super duper "oxidation" pills are simply Magnesium pills!!!! I feel stupid now, because I have magnesium tablets here at home. I just wasn't thinking--and, if you notice, the supplement facts aren't given anywhere on the Amazon product description. I'll give them to you here: The "Supplement Facts" state MAGNESIUM 1740 mg (per 6 capsules). Folks you can get this at your local health food store, much cheeper.

The Directions on the Colosan capsules say to take 6 capsules with a twelve ounce glass of water--three times daily for five days for an initial cleanse. Colosan Capsules should be consumed on an empty stomach at least an hour before eating. Take six capsules weekly for maintenance. One or two can be taken as a stool softener.

If you buy magnesium tablets, you won't have to take 6 tablets at a time. This is because each magnesium pill has more mg's than Colosan. You could simply take as many magnesium pills that come close to 1740 mgs.. Welp, you live and learn. I hope I will have spared a few of you from falling for this--just buy magnesium.

... In a recent hotly contested election, the Gnu Foods Cinnamon Raisin bar was elected as the best tasting. I'm glad my candidate won. :')

Seriously, of the five current flavors of these fiber bars, Cinnamon Raisin is by far the best. The others are okay but nothing special (3 stars) with the Chocolate Brownie my next choice (4 stars).

These are not you typical nutrition bars, they are real food. They are made with healthy, fresh ingredients and taste like something mom might bake. Packed with nutrition, they are also a good choice for meal replacement if you are on the run. The only thing lacking is extra protien (there is some) so keep that in mind. You could try pairing it with the high protein ZOIC Nutrition Drink. The fiber fills you up and helps keep you full for hours. It amazes me that two bars have almost all of my daily serving needs for fiber. And they really do keep you regular, if you know what I mean.

I could ramble on but the only way to know yourself is to try one. My suggestion is try the Cinnamon Raisin first, then the others if you like it. I'm betting you come back to the Cinnamon Raisin.

- 1-2 hours after you taking it you'll feel like you're full, doesn't want to eat. But after that you'll be very hungry and end up eating too much. THe pill can only hold your craving shortly.

- 4 pills; 3 to be taken in the morning and 1 in the evening. At many times I lost that 1 tiny evening pill or forgot about it.
- they pack 4 pills in a plastic - it's not practical. When I remembered to take my last pill in the evening, I must digged in the box to find the slipped out pill.

However, these snack bars aren't very effective as a way to control hunger between meals, at least for me. They have a fair amount of sugar, very little fiber, and a relatively high calorie to mass ratio, all of which conspire to make this a less than ideal snack. If it's practical for you, eating a piece of fruit instead will control hunger much better, since your average apple/pear/etc. has more mass and fiber and will fill you up with fewer calories.

On the plus side, these bars pack a pretty good amount of vitamins and minerals and are a much better choice that most of the things you can find in a vending machine. ...

... I haven't tried every one on the market, but this is the one I've landed on. It does not have peanuts in it (I'm allergic). It tastes pretty good. Wears your jaw out, since it's so chewy.


The only issue I had was that the ones I ordered through Amazon felt grainy. The consistency was different than that of an individually bought one. The individual ones were better. But still, a quality bar whatever the graininess is! ...

... There is no disputing that these bars taste really good. Unfortunately they are able to deliver this taste because of the high amount of sugar. Each bar has 27 grams of sugar, that is really high. Compare that with my favorite, Premier Nutrition Protein bars which have only 8 grams of sugar (and 30 grams of protein vs. the 20 in these) and you see what I am getting at. I guess they are still better than eating a candy bar, however, loading a "nutrition" bar with so much sugar is very counter-productive. ...

... I typically avoid energy gels, etc. as I don't like the taste/texture. Hoping for a different experience, I tried these for the first time during a 14 mile run and found that I actually enjoyed eating them.

I found the Pomegranate taste to be good and the texture was similar to a good gummy bear. I shared with my running partner who also liked them. I will be buying more and using them for longer runs. They did not bother my stomach and were easily digested.
